Hello! My name is Melanie, and I am a portrait photographer based out of Marion country here in Oregon. I have been doing portrait photography now for almost 10 years and have opened my services to weddings over the last few years now too.
With photography, I feel that it is an art - to create something that may hang up in your home one day or be saved in a photobook to look on for years to come. That is why I love what I do.
Photography is like poetry, only visual. There are so many stories and meanings one picture can portray, it all depends on who's looking at the photo.
My goal is to capture beautiful moments that showcase how special you and your loved ones are.
Each family and couple that I work with is unique and different. There are no two stories alike. I love the opportunity of getting special time to know you, and learning what's important for you through a photography session.
